In today's irregular lifestyle, we follow diet and calorie counting very strictly. The word calorie is always at the forefront of health discussions. Calories are a type of energy that the body gets from food. But even though calories are useful for human health, why do we need to avoid their excess intake? Another important thing is that what can we consume without worrying about calories?

Just like fuel is needed to drive a car, our body needs calories to run properly. So it is important to get the right amount of calories from your diet. The body gets calories through three nutrients namely protein, fat and carbohydrates. One gram of protein, fat and carbohydrate contains nine, four and four calories respectively. Water, on the other hand, is a drink that contains zero carbohydrates, fats and proteins. You may be aware of the numerous benefits of water, including zero calories, which is a very important benefit.
Although the amount of calories in water is zero, it does not mean that water does not provide energy to your body, on the contrary, water plays an important role in transporting the energyproduced from the food in the body to all the cells. Although there are no calories in water, water definitely works to deliver energy to every organ in our body, not only that, but water also plays a very important role in breaking down and destroying calories. Therefore, people who are losing weight are advised to drink plenty of water.





 
Drinking cold water causes the body to break down excess calories relatively quickly; Along with the breakdown of calories, water helps the body flush out unwanted waste and toxins from the kidneys. Water is also useful for cleaning the kidneys. Water also helps in burning excess fat in the body. In this way, water does not contain calories in itself but helps the body to burn calories from other sources. If you are following a strict diet keeping in mind that 'zero calories means zero weight gain' then make a close friend with water today. This way you won't even need to count your calories.
